About the event
Join us in celebrating the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, patroness of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish.
As pilgrims make the 4-mile procession from the historic Old Town Chapel to the main church, we will keep vigil in prayer, walking with Mary through the mysteries of the Rosary. Guided reflections, Scripture, sacred music, and quiet prayer will help us contemplate Mary’s life and her invitation to follow Christ with trust and surrender.
As the pilgrims arrive, our communities will come together for a beautiful trilingual Mass in Latin, English, and Spanish at approximately 4:30 PM, followed by a parish fiesta with food and fellowship.
Come for the Rosary, join us for Mass and the fiesta, or spend the whole afternoon with us as pilgrimage gives way to prayer, worship, and celebration.
